Students

Upon commencing their studies at the School of Life Sciences, students have the opportunity to register with Alumni HLS and become passive members of the association. For students enrolled at the School of Life Sciences, membership is free. If you sign up, membership is free until the end of your senior year and the membership fee for the first year after graduation will be offered to you by the School of Life Sciences.

Graduates / former students

Former students of the School of Life Sciences can register for the association at our secretary's office using the registration form under "Become a member". For an annual fee of currently CHF 30, members can benefit from exclusive offers even after graduation and support the association in maintaining existing offers and developing new services.Former students of the School of Life Sciences, the University of Applied Sciences Basel and the School of Engineering Basel, who are not members, can register directly via the webpage at any time.The first year after graduation will be offered to you by the School of Life Sciences (see paragraph Students).

Staff of the School of Life Sciences

One of our stated main goals is to promote networking among alumni. However, we also see ourselves as a link between the alumni and the university. Not only the alumni should have the possibility to stay in contact with each other, but also with the employees of the university. For this reason, passive membership is possible for employees of the School of Life Sciences according to our current statutes. They may also register at any time using the form on the webpage. Questions can be directed to our secretariat at any time.
